All topics taught by an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Certified Childbirth Educator (CCE). This series is taught individually with families, virtually through Zoom. Series might be covered at ZERO cost to you with insurance.
Session 1 (90m) - The Basics (90M): The 7 Baby B’s and Baby-Friendly Hospitals, Infant Feeding Basics & Baby Sleep, Birth Bonding & Babywearing, Creating your infant feeding goal.
Session 2 (90M) - Infant Feeding: Milk Transfer & Newborn Output, Your P.A.L. - Positioning AND Latch, Breastfeeding Concerns & Lactation Aids, Creating a plan of support to meet your infant feeding goal.
Session 3 (90M) - Postpartum Health: Healthy Lifestyles, Matrescence & Postpartum Emotional Health Challenges, Baby Behaviors & Baby Cues, Balance & Boundaries, Discussing your home support system, Creating your village with community resources.

90-Minute IN-PERSON Consultation (covered with most insurance). Initial in-person visits will be scheduled in a San Benito County, CA non-profit office space.
Consultation will be scheduled with an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Certified Childbirth Educator, and Certified Wellness Coach II.
In this 60-90-minute consultation we will discuss your perinatal & emotional health as it relates to lactation.
We will review your birth & breastfeeding experience.
Discuss your infant feeding goals.
Provide an overview of perinatal mood disorders and awareness of Dysphoric Milk Ejection Reflex (D-MER).
You will learn coping and relaxation strategies as needed.
Initial consultation will focus on your lactation emotional health.
Follow-up consultations will focus on specific goals such as milk supply challenges, positioning & latch, pumping, milk storage guidelines, and introducing solids may also be discussed.
Realistic plan of care will be provided with additional resources for support.

Learn about your lactation & pumping rights in the workplace, at school, and/or while traveling.
Receive pumping information, human milk storage recommendations, and bottle feeding guidance.
Together we will create a realistic infant feeding plan of care while being away from baby.
Communication strategies and boundary setting in the workplace will also be addressed.
Lactation accommodations materials will be provided.

Individual or small group classes taught by a Certified Educator of Infant Massage (CEIM).
Classes are taught over 5 sessions, 90m each session in-person or virtually.
Parents will learn the benefits of infant massage, massage strokes & bonding techniques, recognizing baby cues, & how to apply what you learn at home.
Instructor will demonstrate massage strokes on a doll.
Once you check-out, we will contact you to discuss booking.
Program designed and created by the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM).

FREE Baby Chat 15-30 minute virtual visit to discuss how we can help.
After confirming services you will be scheduled for a 60-90 minute Lactation Consultation. At that time, we will review your health history as it relates to lactation and we will learn more about your infant feeding goals. You will be provided with materials, continued follow-up, and connection to community resources.
In-person visits include an assessment of milk transfer during a feed (weighted feed) and assessment of positioning & latch. Available in San Benito County, CA.

Scheduled Lactation Consultations can be virtual or in-person:
Virtual visits will be provided using a confidential online platform. Insurance companies require cameras to be ‘on’ during the visit. Once your appointment is confirmed, you will receive a link to join at the designated time.
In-person visits may be required by your insurance. In-person visits are currently only available in San Benito County, CA.
Location: Initial in-person visit will be scheduled at a local non-profit office space in Hollister, CA. Home visits are available for follow-up care.
